STO Readymix (Powermix) has launched a new site in Hulhumale’ and officially begun their operations.
The inauguration ceremony of the STO power mix was commenced by the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, Dr Mohamed Muiz and the Managing Director of STO, Ahmed Shaheer.
Managing Director of STO, Ahmed Shaheer spoke about the high workload and demand for a power mix site in Hulhumale during the official opening ceremony.
Compared to the power mix plant in Male’ city, the plant in Hulhumale’ has a higher capacity and already has numerous orders, Shaheer mentioned during his speech.
The aim of the power mix concrete by STO, which started in 2015 was to reduce the huddle in Male’ city near the construction sites and also for the construction industry. STO has contributed tremendously to the urban development in the Maldives.
