National Institute of Education (NIE) is hosting a Teachers’ Conference in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and England’s University of
Cambridge.
The conference is to be held on the 4th and 5th of September this year.
The event is open to teachers and many other professionals who work in the educational sector of the Maldives, including some foreign invitees.
The NIT Development Office Coordinator, Ms. Shuhudha Rizwan stated that workshops on improving research work development in schools will be carried out at the conference.
The conference is to be held in Addu City.
While entry is free for Maldivian teachers, foreign teachers have to pay a registration fee of USD 150 to participate in the conference.
