One of the best telecommunication & digital service providers in Maldives, Ooredoo Maldives has declared Team Malahini as the winners of “Ooredoo Mas Race” 2018.
Competing in the biggest fishing competition in the Maldives, Team Malahini won the championship after beating Team Milaidhoo who went on to become the runner-ups of the competition, followed by Team Enzi who won third place.
Team Malahini was awarded with MVR 175,000 speedboat designed for fishing and a MVR 150,000 Evinrude 60 horsepower engine.
The ‘Thafaathu Maakeyolhu’ prize in the male category went to Abdul Haadhee Mohamed from Team Milaidhoo who caught a 11.05 kilogram faana during semifinals and to Nashaama Mohamed from Team Malahini for a 10.5 kilogram handhi. The winners of the “Thafaathu Maakeyolhu” were each awarded MVR 5,000 as cash prize by Ooredoo.
Director of Sales & Brand, Hussein Niyaz congratulated all the prize winners. “This year’s Mas Race concluded very successfully and received support beyond our expectations, and we are hoping for an even more successful event next year. This would not have been possible if not for the support of our partners”, Niyaz mentioned.
