The third edition of Maldives Travel Conference will be hosted in Maldives on 22nd November 2018. Theme for the 2018 Maldives Travel Conference, is centered around growth and sustainability.
As part of Maldives Travel Conference The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is to stage the 2nd edition of the ‘PATA Human Capacity Building Program in the Maldives under the theme ‘Growth Hacking: How to Scale Your Business Exponentially’. In response to the success of the PATA Human Capacity Building Program in Maldives on July 12-17, 2017, the 2nd edition of this intensive and interactive training program will incorporate a series of classroom interactions conducted by leading travel industry experts coupled with practical activities and networking opportunities.
The program content is based upon the successful PATAcademy-HCD event held at the Association’s Engagement Hub in Bangkok. Participants will gain hands-on experience by working both individually and on team-based projects where presentations are shared at the end of the program. From this intensive high-value training, participants will take home practical marketing strategies to be applied and implemented in their respective organizations.
First launched in 2016, as part of Maldives Travel Awards, Maldives Travel Conference was launched with the intention of creating a platform in Maldives to lead international dialogue and debate on challenges and opportunities that the tourism industry unfolds.
In 2016 MATATO the conference focused on four main topics with the importance of promoting the Maldives overseas, changes to the nation’s luxury travel industry, the ongoing transformation of the archipelago’s tourism sector, and the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry.
Registration for Maldives Travel Conference is now open for all sectors of travel Industry. MATATO expects more than 250 people to join the Conference this year.
