Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed has begun a tour to Noonu Atoll, Raa Atoll and Lhaviyani Atoll.
Minister Ali Waheed has taken a tour in order to expand tourism in the atolls and look into the challenges facing the industry along with the ways to develop the services for tourists.
The tours are aimed to create job opportunities within the tourism industry for the people within the atolls and to contribute towards corporate social responsibilities (CSR). The minister will also discuss measures that are to be taken to increase safety and security for the tourists.
A one-day conference with the title “Building a Bridge Between Stakeholders of Tourism and Society, will be held in the atolls with the participation of resorts and guesthouses.
