A discussion concludes between the Tourism Minister of Maldives Honorable Ali Waheed and India’s Tourism Minister Mr. K.J Alphons to promote the Maldives tourism industry on Honorable Ali Waheed’s official trip to India.
A discussion was carried out on the bond between India and Maldives. Furthermore, ways and means by which the two countries could work together in strengthening the tourism industry were highlighted during this meeting. There were also discussions on convenient ways to allow Indian tourists to access all of Maldives.
The original reason for his trip to India is to take part in the 5th Global Summit held in New Delhi from 22nd to 23rd February 2019. Along with Honorable Ali Waheed, the Mayors of Addu City, Male City, Fuvahmulah City and the President of Kulhudhuffushi Council also participated in this trip.
