Avoid hosting tourist in tourism facilities illegally, advises Tourism Ministry. Further explaining this statement, those who are found to be doing this shall have action taken against them as per the Ministry of Tourism.
Councils have been asked to inform the Ministry of any such individuals in the inhabited islands who are found, within 30 days according to a press statement released by the Ministry of Tourism. Additionally, any facilities with an expired operating license shall be subject to a period of 30 days to create a proposal containing a detailed plan on how to upgrade their respective facilities in order to receive a new operating license.
In order to issue a temporary operating license, the Ministry shall monitor several conditions which require to be fulfilled including the safety levels of the facility, employee rights and the amount due to the government and etc. In order to examine the previously mentioned things, the Ministry has currently begun an inspection of all tourist facilities.
