The price of tuna has increased in the market of Thailand and Marca Madrid, Spain as per the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources,
The price of Skipjack Tuna in Thailand is 23.13 MVR per kilogram in March while the price was 19.74 during the month of February. The price of Yellow Fin Tuna in Spain’s Marcamadrid Market during the 2nd week of March was 159.92 MVR while the price was 157.52 during the 1st week of March.
However, the price of fish has dropped in the Tokyo Metropolitan Wholesale Market, Japan. The price of Bigeye Tuna was 238.88 MVR during the 2nd week of March while the price was 306.88 MVR during the 1st week of March. This is a decrease of 28.47%.
