Amidst delays in the development of housing units by Jaah Construction in Hulhumale’, Urbanco has engaged in discussions with Jaah to expedite the completion process. This move aims to minimise the losses faced by those who have invested in flats under The Garden’s project.
To ensure a comprehensive understanding of the outstanding work and guarantee a transparent completion process, an independent consultant will be appointed. Their principal duty will be to evaluate the pending tasks and provide guidance on the best course of action.
Based on the insights from the consultant, a new contractor may be sought to bring the project to its conclusion. This initiative is anticipated to alleviate the financial burdens experienced by The Garden’s flat owners. Any compensations arising from the project’s delays will fall under the purview of Jaah Investments.
