Uz. Ismail Yasir has been removed from State Trading Organization’s Board of Directors on the 18th of January 2019. Both STO and Privatization and Corporatization Board have confirmed his dissmisal.
He was appointed to the position on the 6th of February 2019. His predecessor was Dr. Aishath Rafiyya of Maafannu Waving Light. No reason is currently known regarding the sudden ousting of the most recently hired Director of STO.
After his eviction, the board now consists of the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of STO, Mr. Hussain Amr Mohamed Rashad, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Mohamed Mihad and the three Directors, Mr. Amir Mansoor, Ms. Mariyam Zahiya and Ms. Aishath Fazeena.
