The recently concluded Vacations Expo in Hulhumale saw a remarkable turnout, drawing in more than 8,000 visitors over its three-day duration from April 25th to 27th.
Event organiser Highrise Pvt Ltd expressed satisfaction with the public response, citing positive feedback from all 42 participating exhibitors.
“The expo went extremely well. We had over 8000 visitors at the end of the event. All the exhibitors gave positive feedback” said Highrise Sales & Marketing Assistant Manager, Mohamed Hassaan.
Some notable names among the vendors were Whale Submarine Maldives, the Embassy of Japan to the Maldives, the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Maldives, Viyeni Raajje, Bangkok Hospital, and BEOND Airlines.
“(We) highly appreciate the support and commitment given by the Main Sponsor Ace Travels Maldives, as well as Co-Sponsors Ace Aviation Services Maldives, Inner Maldives and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Male, Maldives, in uplifting Vacations Expo,” said Hassaan, adding that the company gives special thanks to all the participating exhibitors for making Vacations Expo 2024 remarkable and memorable.
Held at Central Park in Hulhumale, the Expo operated in two sessions daily, from 04:00 to 06:00 pm and 08:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
With representatives from airlines, guest houses, dive centres, Hajj and Umrah groups, hospitals, and popular holiday destinations like Saudi Arabia and Japan, attendees had the chance to engage directly with industry professionals and explore a wide range of travel options.
One highlight of the Expo was the Visit and Win lucky draw, offering attendees the chance to win enticing prizes daily. Lucky participants walked away with free airline tickets, Umrah trips, submarine excursions, resort stays, and other exciting rewards, adding an element of excitement to the event.
The return of the Vacations Expo after a three-year hiatus contributed to its heightened anticipation among industry professionals and travel enthusiasts. The expo acts as a significant platform for networking, showcasing travel offerings, and fostering partnerships within the industry.
