Velana International Airport (VIA) opened two new food and beverage (F&B) outlets at its international terminal yesterday. ‘The Grape’ by Grape Expectations and an outlet featuring KFC, Costa Coffee, and Grab and Fly by HMSHost were officially introduced in a ceremony held at the departure terminal.
MACL CEO, MD Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, Grape Expectations MD Amir Mansoor, and HMSHost Operations Manager Sravan Patnaik inaugurated the outlets at the departure terminal. Representatives from MACL, Grape Expectations, and HMSHost were present at the event.
Introducing these F&B outlets is part of MACL’s initiative to enhance the VIA International Departure Forecourt, offering passengers a wider range of products and brands. Grape Expectations and HMSHost have been managing restaurants at VIA since 2018.
MACL CEO Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed stated that the aim is to provide quality service to VIA passengers, expressing confidence that the newly opened outlets meet this objective.
