Villa College has established a psychology laboratory, the first such lab to be established in the Maldives.
The lab was inaugurated by the guest of honour Dr. Afiya Ali, Principal Clinical Psychologist Centre for Mental Health, at a special ceremony held at Villa College’s psychology lab. Speaking after inaugurating the lab, Dr. Afiya highlighted the importance of establishing a lab for students pursuing higher education in psychology. She also noted the work done by Villa College in providing students with such different experiences.
Speaking at the function, Lecturer and Counsellor at the Faculty of Education Studies, Mr. Aaiz Ahmed Rasheed noted that Villa College has always aimed to introduce new additions to enhance the experience and skills of its students.
The psychology lab launched by Villa College is designed to open up new opportunities for students to engage in experimental learning in psychology.
Villa College has opened applications to pursue studies in psychology and other fields until January 2022. The last date to apply is January 4, 2022.
