Visit Maldives Partners with Jalboot and STO Energy for World Travel Awards 2026

Visit Maldives Corporation has partnered with Jalboot and STO Energy to support the World Travel Awards Asia, Oceania and Indian Ocean 2026, bringing local transport and energy services into preparations for the Maldives-hosted ceremony.
Jalboot will serve as the event’s official transportation partner, providing services for the movement and coordination of participants. The agreement was signed by Jalboot Director of Corporate Services Sharon Austin and Visit Maldives Corporation Manager of Business Development Aishath Shirany Nasir.
STO Energy has joined as the official energy partner and will provide the energy resources required for the ceremony. Its agreement was signed by STO Energy Manager of Sales and Marketing Ahmed Riffath and Nasir.
The partnerships bring local maritime and energy-sector companies into the operational arrangements for an event that will convene tourism destinations, hospitality brands and other industry representatives from Asia, Oceania and the Indian Ocean.
The World Travel Awards recognises excellence across the global travel and tourism industry. Hosting the regional ceremony in the Maldives is expected to provide the destination with an opportunity to engage industry stakeholders, build professional connections and promote the Maldives within international tourism markets.
Visit Maldives Corporation said the partnerships form part of its preparations to deliver the event and showcase the Maldives to a global tourism audience.
