Maldives has won the first ever Bronze for Maldives in the South Asian Games, in women’s football.
The team broke the record where they defeated the Sri Lankan women’s team by 2-1.
Along with the wins in Football, the regional tournament which concluded today in Nepal saw historic wins for Maldives in Basketball, Table Tennis and Athletics.
