The Youth Career Expo 2017, a collaboration of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the Ministry of Economic Development has launched to great success, with over 4,000 visitors and 1,600 applications received for the different jobs offered at the fair.
According to Mr. Adam Thaufeeg, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, the fair offered over 1,000 different career opportunities, and the visitors were very enthusiastic. He gave his assurance that the Ministry would keep a close eye on the applications to ensure the maximum amount of applicants receive the jobs they deserve.
Several different companies participated in the fair, the bulk of which were companies operating in Hulhumale’, with Tree Top Hospital offering the most job opportunities at the fair.
