President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed two individuals as State Ministers at two ministries.
Aishath Athiya Naseer has been appointed as the State Minister of Education Ministry while Zifleena
Hassan was appointed as the State Minister of Gender Ministry.
Athiya Naseer has completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Nottingham in England and previously served as the Chief Administrator of ADK Hospital.
Zifleena Hassan is currently doing her PHD and has completed her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia.
