As Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) prepares to inaugurate Addu Fisheries Complex, the fisheries giant has initiated an open-day, seeking interested and qualified individuals for the complex in the southermost atoll.
The fisheries complex in Addu, which is an investment of USD 6 million, will be equipped with a 50 ton ice plant and has the capacity to store 200 tons of oil as well as 250 tons of water. The plant is said to provide more than 70 employment opportunities during the first phase itself, including vacancies for laboratory, engineering, accounting, technical and administration.
According to MIFCO their Addu fisheries complex with start official operations in July.
The fisheries company will be providing information about its operations, overhead procedures and career opportunities in the open-day which is taking place from June 20 until 22.
Interested individuals can attend to the venue of MIFCO’s open-day event at Hulhumeedhoo, Addu city, along with their credentials for a walk-in interview.
The open-day event by MIFCO will be shifting its venue from island to island across Addu atoll islands, with Thursday’s event slated at Hithadhoo.
Moreover the open-day is also scheduled at Fuvahmulah, Gnaviyani atoll on Friday.
