SriLankan Airlines is prepared to begin direct operations between Gan and Colombo this December.
An official from Ace Travels, the SriLankan agent in the country stated that all preparations are complete. and are ready to begin operations. It is expected to start operations around the first of December and that 90% of the work is complete he added.
SriLankan has previously shown interest to start operations from Gan before as well and talks have been in place for a while now. It is estimated that the trip would take 2 hours and 15 minutes and would cost $300.
