An agreement has been signed between Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure Turkish company Alke Turmaks Joint Venture Pvt Ltd in order to supply necessary equipment for the upcoming tertiary hospital in Addu City.
From Planning Ministry, the agreement was signed by Director General Ms. Fathmath Shaanaa Faarooq while Chief of Technical Office for Alke Turmaks signed the agreement on behalf of their company. Under this agreement, supply, commissioning and installation of the equipment should be carried out with any training needed for staff.
A budget of USD 1.007 million was assigned for the project with loans from OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) along with some percentage of the governmental budget. The project is expected to be concluded within 45-65 days.
