Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has announced that they will be sending the first batch of female fire fighters to the Basic Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting course aboard.
A total of 12 female fighters will be joining their male counterparts at the training course.
The Acting Managing Director of MACL, Mr. Moosa Solih praised the work done by the ARFF team and mentioned that this is an achievement with respect to balancing the gender gap in Velana International Airport.
The 2 month training course will be hosted at the Palembang Aviation Training College Palembang, Indonesia.
