The master plan by the Ministry of Tourism to improve the industry will be inaugurated on July 30.
The Minister of Tourism, Hon. Ali Waheed made the announcement in an interview given to the national media, Public Service Media (PSM).
This is the 5th plan since it began in 2013.
The Tourism Master Plan consists of each government bringing reforms with the assistance of the private sector to strengthen the industry as a whole.
He also stated that some of the main goals include getting locals more job opportunities within the industry and empowering women in the sector.
It is expected that more opportunities will be available through the Master Plan.
