Sonee Sports has signed as the title sponsor of the Golden Futsal Challenge 2022.
President of Golden Futsal Association Rilwan Moosa signed the agreement on behalf of the association. Assistant Marcom Manager of Sonee Sports Mariyam Abdulla signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
According to Rilwan, 91 teams are participating this year, which is the sixth Golden Futsal competition. While 177 matches will be played this year, Rilwan noted that all the matches are being live-streamed.
Speaking on behalf of Sonee Sports, Mariyam revealed that the Golden Futsal Challenge is the largest futsal tournament to be held in the Maldives and that it was a great opportunity to sign as the title sponsor of the tournament.
“Sonee Sports wants to extend all possible support to the development of sports in the Maldives. In this regard, it is a great opportunity to sign the sponsorship of Golden Futsal, the largest futsal competition to be held in the Maldives,” she stated.
The Golden Futsal Challenge is scheduled to begin on February 19. The matches will be held at the Hulhumale’ Turf Stadium.
