Inflation has risen by 0.67 percent during the month of May 2022.
According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the consumer price index for all items rose by 0.67 percent in May 2022 compared to the rise of 0.27 percent in April 2022.
Additionally, the index for all items excluding fish rose by 0.52 percent in May 2022 compared to the rise of 0.20 percent in April 2022.
The most significant price increase in this month include those from passenger transport by air, fish, meat, milk, other dairy products and eggs, shoes and other footwear, motorcycles, oils and fats, major household appliances, mobile communication services, furniture, and tobacco.
The most significant price decrease in this month included those from fruits and vegetables, as well as household textiles.
