Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has brought a fleet of 36 mini buses to the Maldives.
The first shipment of 36 out of 41 buses ordered by MTCC arrived on Saturday morning and the remaining 5 buses will be delivered by 18 July.

The minibus services will officially begin in 3 atolls: Addu City, Fuvahmulah City and Laamu atoll this month. CEO Adam Azim also stated that the company is working on to start the mini bus operations in Male’ City on 31 July. 12 out of 41 buses will be used in Male’ City.
These mini buses have a capacity of 20 – 25 passengers and the vehicles are also designed for easy access and travel for people with disabilities.
