The Ministry of Economic Development has released the operating hours for businesses, including cafes, restaurants, and shops, during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal.
The ministry has specified that shops and similar businesses can operate from 0530 to 0100hrs, while cafes and restaurants can operate from 1730 to 0300hrs during Ramadan and 0430 to 0300hrs during the first seven days of Shawwal. These new operating hours went into effect on March 15.
Additionally, the ministry has advised catering establishments in residential areas to provide services during the designated hours.
