Maldives Ports Limited’s (MPL) statistics reveal that they successfully cleared 1,519 TEUs of cargo from the 17th of November to the 23rd of November.
The company disclosed that out of the total cleared containers, 661 were 20-foot units, whilst 429 were 40-foot units.
During the same period, thirteen vessels arrived at Male’ Commercial Harbour. This comprised five container vessels and five general cargo vessels. The company managed the loading and unloading of 1,799 TEUs, equivalent to 1,297 containers.
MPL’s data highlighted the types of perishables processed during the week. These included a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as watermelon, potato, onion, tomato, sweet melon, brinjal, pineapple, and eggs.
