Maldives’ table tennis prodigy, Fathimath Dheema Ali, has been appointed as Dhiraagu’s newest Brand Ambassador. The telecommunications company’s CEO and Managing Director, Ismail Rasheed, conferred the official ambassadorship during a special ceremony held at the company’s head office on Thursday.
“It is an honour to have Dheema onboard as the newest Brand Ambassador of Dhiraagu. She is not only a source of pride for the nation but also a rising star who inspires many young people in a small community like ours,” said Mohamed Mirshan Hassan, Dhiraagu’s Director of Brand & Marketing Communications.
He further congratulated Dheema on her groundbreaking achievement as the first Maldivian to qualify for the Olympic Games and wished her well in her future endeavours.
Fathimath Dheema Ali, in her acceptance speech, expressed gratitude for the ambassadorship. “It is an honour that my first ambassadorship is with a local company, Dhiraagu, the leading digital service provider in the Maldives.
