Velana International Airport Braces for High Traffic on 4–7 April

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has issued an advisory warning of increased passenger traffic at Velana International Airport (VIA) on 4, 5, and 7 April 2025, due to the departure of Umrah pilgrims.

According to the company, travellers scheduled to depart on these dates are advised to arrive at least three hours prior to their flights to avoid delays and ensure a smooth travel experience.
