Dhiraagu has recognised a wide cross-section of its workforce at its annual awards ceremony, highlighting long-term service and individual performance as part of its internal recognition framework.
The event brought together senior leadership and employees, with attendance from the Chairperson of the Communications Authority of Maldives, Ilyas Ahmed, alongside Dhiraagu’s CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed, board members, and staff.
A total of 88 employees were honoured at this year’s ceremony. This included 53 staff recognised for long service milestones of 10, 15, and 25 years, as well as 34 employees awarded across performance-based categories. These included divisional merit, special merit, innovation awards linked to specific projects, and leadership recognition.
The Chairperson’s Award, the company’s highest individual recognition, was presented to Khalaf Mohamed Nafiz from Consumer Services. The company stated that Nafiz was recognised for his performance and contribution to developing internal platforms that improved operational processes and commercial outcomes.
Dhiraagu said the awards programme forms part of its broader effort to recognise employee contributions and reinforce organisational priorities, including innovation, collaboration, and long-term development of its workforce.
The company added that it continues to focus on workforce development as part of its role in delivering digital services across the Maldives.
