BML Signs Three-Year Partnership with Netball Association

Bank of Maldives has entered a three-year partnership with the Netball Association of Maldives to support junior competitions and the development of young players across the country.

Under the agreement, the bank will sponsor the association’s annual interschool netball tournament, known as the BML Raajje Junior Netball Championship, as well as the Junior Championship Tournament.

The competitions are intended to provide young players with regular opportunities to participate in organised netball and develop their skills at school and junior levels.

The Netball Association of Maldives regularly conducts tournaments as part of its efforts to expand participation in the sport and identify emerging talent.

The partnership adds netball to Bank of Maldives’ existing sponsorship arrangements with several national sporting bodies. The bank currently supports organisations representing football, basketball, swimming and other aquatic sports, surfing and tennis, as well as the Maldives Olympic Committee.

BML said its sports partnerships form part of its broader support for youth development and the growth of sporting talent nationwide.
