Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the Aa. Maalhos Harbour Development Project.
Aa. Maalhos Harbour Development Project is well underway, with overall 60 percent project progress. Breakwater construction works have been completed. Construction of groyne works are scheduled to start this week.
Scope of works involve, dredging and excavation operations of 24,335cbm, construction of a 394m quay wall, a 407m breakwater, a 100m revetment, a 56m groyne, installation of 1970sqm harbor pavement, construction of a ramp and installation of harbor lights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 56.9 million.
