Maldives National Airline Maldivian’s domestic airfares have been decreased by a substantial amount of 25-30%.
The change in price has been confirmed by various sources including the Managing Director of Island Aviation Mr Mohamed Rizvi. Mr. Rizvi has stated that after discussion with the President’s Office, airfares have been decreased and will be set into place on January 10th

- Male’ – Dharavandhoo – Male’ | MVR 1098 – 1562
- Male’ – Kudahuvadhoo – Male’ | MVR 1500 – 2056
- Male’ – Thimarafushi – Male’ | MVR 1610 – 2226
- Male’ – Kahdhoo – Male’ | MVR 1610 – 2226
- Male’ – Kooddoo – Male’ | MVR 1652 – 2442
- Male’ – Kaadedhdhoo – Male’ | MVR 1652 – 2442
- Male’ – Fuvahmulaku – Male’ | MVR 1698 – 2598
- Male’ – Addu City – Male’ | MVR 1698 – 2666
As per Mr. Rizvi, the companies aim is to keep the airfares at the lowest rate all year round and hopefully in the future introduce more promotional fares. Additionally, Maldivian’s vision is to further increase the quality of their services in the long run.
