The leading insurer in the country, Allied Insurance Company, is celebrating its 38th Anniversary today.
To commemorate the remarkable milestone, a special press conference was held at its corporate office. During the event, the General Manager of Allied Insurance, Ibrahim Firshan donated helmets to the Maldives Police Service’s “Rakka” program on behalf of the company. The Head of Road Safety Awareness and Prevention, Chief Inspector of Police Ahmed Faseeh, accepted the donation on behalf of the Maldives Police Service.
The “Rakka” program was initiated by the Maldives Police Service to raise awareness about road safety and traffic rules and regulations in various parts of Maldives. The program has already hosted several activities in Kulhudhufushi, Laamu Atoll, Addu, and Male City.
The 100 helmets donated by Allied Insurance aim to replace half-helmets currently used in Addu. Additionally, the company has launched a motor campaign, starting on February 1st, offering a free helmet to the first 140 customers who purchase a comprehensive motor policy. Firshan stated that every customer who takes out and renews a policy through Allied or Allied Islamic Window, Ayadi will receive a helmet that meets the standards set by the police.
To mark its anniversary, Allied also made its popular Calendar available to the first 38 customers who took out policies from its front office. As part of its tradition, the company also distributed cupcakes to the public in its customer front office area.
