Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the B. Dharavandhoo Shore Protection Project.
According to MTCC, the B. Dharavandhoo Shore Protection Project is well underway, with overall 77% project progress. The company has completed the construction of the breakwater. The fourth shipment of rock boulders has been delivered to the site.
Scope of works includes 10,800 cbm of beach filling, construction of a 490m breakwater and a 96m revetment.
MTCC revealed that the value of the project is MVR 22.1 million.
