Bank of Maldives continued its investment program today with a modern new branch premises and Self Service Banking Centre in Eydhafushi, Baa Atoll. The new facilities will support local individuals and businesses to make deposits, payments and transfers on a 24/7 basis.
The inauguration of the Bank’s investments took place at a special ceremony in Eydhafushi which was attended by customers as well local residents, business owners and community leaders. To mark the occasion, the April board meeting of the Bank’s Board of Directors was held in the new branch premises.
Speaking at the ceremony, BML’s CEO and Managing Director Andrew Healy commented “We are delighted to support the community of Eydhafushi with this beautiful new branch and Self Service Banking Centre. Eydhafushi is clearly a business and economic hub in this atoll and today’s investments will therefore not only benefit the people and businesses of this island but also those in neighboring islands such as Maalhos, Dharavandhoo and Dhonfanu.”
