Ministry of Tourism has announced that they are extending the dates for submitting suggestions in regards to tourism related regulations. Previously, the dates were from 20th to 27th January. However, the dates have now been extended till 27th February 2019 due to extreme support from the public and industry personnel.
The public may comment on regulations such as resort, guesthouse, hotel, travel agency and tour guide laws. In addition, they can also comment on regulations to protect living things in tourism industry and environment protection agency’s regulations.
The regulations will be displayed in the ministry’s website and suggestions may be sent in through email to info@tourism.gov.mv.
