His Excellency Abdulla Shahid met with Mr. D Jagatheesa Pandian, Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
At a meeting held at the AIID Head Office, Minister Shahid briefed on the government’s economic agenda and exchanged views on ways to enhance cooperation between the bank.
Vice President Pandian assured the support of AIIB in assisting the Government of Maldives towards achieving its development agenda.
His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed, Secretary, Multilateral and Her Excellency Aishath Azeema, Ambassador of Maldives in China and members of the Maldives delegation also attended the meeting.
