Villa College has launched the ACCA Accelerate programme on 24th December 2020, in a special ceremony held at Villa College, QI Campus.
Addressing the attendees in the ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Business Management, Abdulla Nafiz highlighted that the introduction of this programme will be enable accounting students to obtain an academic and professional qualification at the same time, giving graduates a significant advantage in the competitive job market.
The ACCA Accelerate programme is designed for students who are studying UWE BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance to receive exemption from ACCA Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills Level upon reaching the third year of degree. Students will then get the opportunity to sit for ACCA Strategic Professional Level modules in the third year.
In this ceremony, Villa College also launched MSc Fast Track, a professional route for CIMA and ACCA members to complete the UWE MSc Accounting and Finance programme within 6 months by completing just 2 modules and a dissertation, and the Oxford Brooked University, BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting Project Mentoring programme for ACCA students, to complete an Accounting degree while working for their ACCA qualifications.
Villa College is offering a total of 104 programmes in the January Intake 2021, for which the College is still open for applications. The application deadline for January Intake 2021 is 31st December 2020.
