Corporate Maldives has announced that they have received more than 150 nominations for their most anticipated event of the year “GOLD 100 Gala”. Advisory partner CTL Strategies has officially started evaluating these nominations and cross-checking the data provided in order to provide Corporate Maldives with a list of the top 100 companies of the Maldives.
Companies were given the opportunity to send in their nominations starting from the 24th of September 2017, allowing them a head start on the deadline for submission of forms, which was on 31st December 2017. The companies will be announced at the GOLD 100 GALA which will be held on the 22nd of February 2018 at Bandos Island Resort and Spa.
GOLD 100 is the first initiative of its kind in the Maldives which provided a listing, categorized by industry, along with profiles of the leading 100 businesses in the country. The major objective of GOLD 100 and GOLD 100 Gala is to distinguish and appreciate the work done by prolific leaders of the businesses community in the Maldives.
The Gold 100 is a list of top 100 business entities in the Maldives, published by Corporate Maldives – a premium business and hospitality magazine. This selection criterion ensures that the selection process is transparent and unbiased so as to reflect that the entities on the list are indeed the Maldives’ “Gold 100”.
Furthermore, Corporate Maldives is set to award prestigious accolades in addition to the GOLD 100 company awards during the 2018 edition. Details are yet to be revealed.
The Gold 100 is not intended to rank business entities but is devised to be a selection of the top business entities. As such, the list would be published in alphabetical order.
Corporate Maldives hosted the inaugural GOLD 100 GALA on the 21st of February 2017, the most exclusive invite-only business networking event in the Maldives. The gala was hosted at Kurumba Maldives and was attended by over 150 top-level executives from the leading companies of the Maldives and VIP guests.
