After Huawei was blacklisted by the government of US, Google and Intel has suspended their business ties with Huawei, a technology giant from China. The suspensions would not affect current Huawei mobiles under use, as per a tweet by Google from the official Android Twitter account.
“For users of our services, Google Play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices.” said a spokesperson from Google.
The company has also been developing their own software in case of such a ban, and is reportedly being used in the newer products being sold in China.
