Globally recognized as a world-class entertainment and lifestyle brand, Hard Rock International has announced their plans to expand its portfolio with Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and Hard Rock Café’ Maldives set to open on October 1st, 2018. This will be part of the first integrated resort project in the Maldives known as Emboodhoo Lagoon. Hard Rock will collaborate with Singha Estate Public Company Limited to provide travellers with the ultimate, family-friendly Maldivian experience.
EEmboodhoo Falhu is located roughly 20 minutes from the main airport by speedboat and is expected to stimulate tourism offering vacationers a combination of world-class hotels offerings such as hotels, entertainment, retail and fine dining. Hard Rock Maldives will be one of three resorts to be included in the development project.
Hard Rock Maldives will boast 178 guestrooms, family suites, beach villas and one and two-bedroom overwater villas. “Traditionally regarded as being a popular honeymoon destination, we at Hard Rock are excited to work with the Singha Estate team to captivate multi-generational travellers, showcasing that the destination can cater to more than just newlyweds.” Stated Todd Hricko, senior vice president, head of global hotel development for Hard Rock International.
Commenting on the Matter, Thiti Thongbenjamas, chief investment officer Maldives project, Singha Estate Public Company Limited said: “This is the perfect complement to our integrated leisure and recreation experiences with Hard Rock Hotels and Hard Rock Cafes as part of The Emboodhoo Lagoon project.”
Hard Rock Hotel Maldives will be inspired by local Maldivian Culture and will infuse contemporary design features with tropical architecture throughout the property, alongside regionally-inspired, authentic music memorabilia.
