Hon. Ali Waheed states that laws will be enforced for tourist safety

Due to the unfortunate events in which tourists have lost their lives, Minister of Tourism, Mr. Ali Waheed stated that safety laws for tourists need to be imposed.

Tourism Minister, Mr. Ali Waheed further stated in a tweet that he requires the support of citizens in preventing such mishaps. He also promises that the government will take proper measures in order to enforce the safety and security laws.

The news of tourists deaths have somehow increased in the Maldives. So far 4 tourists have lost their lives in this January itself.
