Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), in collaboration with Maldives Blood Services, hosted a blood donation camp at Velana International Airport.
As per MACL’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, the aim of this camp was to donate blood to thalassemia patients while increasing awareness among MACL staff. A good number of employees enthusiastically participated in the event.
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Managing Director, Ibrahim Thoha. During the inaugural speech, Thoha emphasised the significance of donating blood, highlighting its dual impact of aiding thalassemia children and benefiting the donors themselves. He encourages everyone to recognise the importance of this noble cause and lend a helping hand to the thalassemia patients.
MACL’s blood donation camp is part of their ongoing commitment to the welfare of the community. By extending support to those in need, MACL strengthens its role as a vital contributor to the community while also championing an ethos of inclusivity and accessibility.
