Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has partnered up with Singapore Airlines to promote Maldives to the Korean market.
According to MMPRC, passengers who book their tickets through Singapore Airlines website will get special promotional price to book the resorts of Maldives. Currently, 16 resorts have partnered up with MMPRC for this promotion namely Amaya Kudarah, Angsana Ihuru, Angsana Velavaru, Banyan tree Vabbinfaru, Furaveri Island Resort and Spa, Gili Lankanfushi, Kandima Maldives, Mirihi Island Resort, Olhuveli Beach Resort and Spa, Paradise Island Resort, Shangri La Resort, Sun Aqua Vilureef and Sun Island Resort.
Under this promotion, passengers who purchase their tickets through Singapore Airlines website will get special discounted rates for the above mentioned resorts.
Korea is included in the top 10 tourism markets of Maldives. Last year tourist arrivals from Korea totaled to 29,580 and this year, till May month 12,750 tourists arrived from Korea
