Maldives Port Limited (MPL) CEO Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim accompanied by the senior management team visited Hithadhoo Regional Port to assess the ongoing work at the facility. Since assuming the role, this marks CEO Wajeeh’s first visit to Hithadhoo Regional Port.
During the visit, CEO Wajeeh reviewed the progress and inquired about the current status of Hithadhoo Regional Port. He interacted with port employees, addressing their queries and discussing potential improvements.
CEO Wajeeh observed an emergency evacuation drill conducted at Hithadhoo Regional Port during the visit. The drill was a joint effort involving MPL’s Health and Safety Department, MNDF, and Addu Equatorial Hospital, with the aim of enhancing safety and emergency preparedness. Certificates were issued to acknowledge participants for their involvement.
CEO Wajeeh formally inaugurated the Health, Safety, and Environment Unit at Hithadhoo Regional Port during the visit, focusing on strengthening security measures at the port.
