Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI) yesterday for three projects worth a total of MVR 59.57 million.
The first project is towards implementing Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance dredging. Scope of works for the project include channel dredging operations of 79,100cbm; existing basin maintenance dredging of 8,600 and supply and installation of navigational aids. The value of the project is MVR 12.17 million. The project is scheduled to be completed within 120 days.
Secondly, MTCC signed with MNPHI towards implementing Land Reclamation of N. Velidhoo boat beaching area. Scope of works for the project include land reclamation operations of 3.48 hectares; leveling 138,247sqm of reclaimed area and construction of 255m revetment. The value of the project is MVR 18.25 million. The project is scheduled to be completed within 280 days.
Lastly, MTCC signed towards implementing N. Manadhoo Harbor new channel dredging and breakwater construction. Scope of works for the project include; dredging and excavation operations of 29,038cbm; a 290m breakwater construction; a 2m wide x 244m long concrete bridge; installation of navigational aids and supply and fixing of mooring buoys. The value of the project is MVR 29.15 million. The project is scheduled to be completed within 300 days.
