Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) have commenced physical works of Gdh. Thinadhoo Industrial Zone Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project on 1st Nov 2022. Bund wall preparation works are currently ongoing.
Scope of works include, reclamation operations of 10.6 hectares, construction of a 1521m revetment, a 555m quay wall, sheet pile works of 166m, installation of 4492sqm pavement, bollards, fenders and lights.
This project was handed over to MTCC by Planning Ministry on 9th January with a valuation of MVR 125 Million.
