The property features seven oceanfront villas, comprising two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas and a five-bedroom residence. It is designed to accommodate approximately 40 guests, with bookings available through the resort’s official website.

According to the property’s website, the island is reached by a 15-minute speedboat transfer from Maavarulu Airport. Italian architecture studio Hus designed the resort, incorporating travertine and coloured marble into its buildings. Kodegalaa is a 3.4-hectare island located northwest of Gadhdhoo.

The ministry placed the opening in the context of preparations for Visit Maldives Year 2027. It said each new resort would help the country welcome more visitors while bringing the economic benefits of tourism to more islands.
