President Dr Mohamed Muizzu appointed Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem as the Chief Executive Officer of Dharumavantha Hospital on Tuesday.
Haleem has previously served in key roles in state-owned enterprises, including the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and Maldives Ports Limited.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu renamed the ‘Male’ Hospitals Board of Trustees’ to the ‘City Group of Hospitals Governing Board.’ This governing board will oversee the operations of Dharumavantha Hospital, IGMH, Hulhumale’ Hospital, and Villimale’ Hospital.
According to the President’s Office, the Governing Board will operate under the President’s guidance and be directly accountable to him. The board’s administration will fall under the Health Ministry, with the President deciding to reappoint members to the board.
